A 7% interest rate is attached to the assessment, but for most customers, the payments are the same or less then what they are currently paying their electric utility.iCustomers who participate in SCEIP also qualify for the AB 1470 $1,500+ rebate for Gas water heating customers, and the $1,000+ rebate for Electric water heating customers, as well as the 30% Federal tax credit! This accounts for nearly HALF of the system costs!
